If you are worried about a child you should contact the Children's Safeguarding Service on the following number:
020 8547 6587 (Monday to Thursday, 8.45am-5.00pm, Friday 8.45am-4.45pm)
020 8770 5000 (any other time)
Or contact us using the online contact form.
We understand that not all major or unexpected problems happen during normal office hours.
The Royal Borough of Kingston provides emergency duty social services for children, young people and their families jointly with the neighbouring London boroughs of Richmond, Merton and Sutton.
To contact this service, please call 020 8770 5000.
The automated message may tell you that the office is closed but there are staff there to take your call. Please hold on until they answer. Any contact with the Children's Emergency Duty Team has to go through the Sutton call centre and you should make it clear that you are seeking support from the Children's Emergency Duty Team as a Kingston resident.
The call centre staff will take a message for the social work team. They will call the duty social worker, who will call you back and give you advice on how to deal with the problem.
